Janel Markwood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2024, at the age of 89, Janel Markwood (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Hacker and Macie Hacker (Lile); and her sister Dr. Jerrianne Hacker. She is survived by: her husband Reverend Lewis Markwood; her children, Cherie Florman (Mike), Catherine Callis (Brad) and Dr. Chris Markwood (Bridget); and her grandchildren, Shelley Green (Phil), Andrea Wolfe (Aaron) and Reagan Markwood. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or Billy Graham Evangelist Association in loving memory of Janel.
