He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Downs and Ruth Downs (Sayers); his wife Loretta Downs; his sister Marie Exley; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Exley and Bill Davenport; his nephew Richard Exley; and his great grandchild Jacob Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Skalla (John) and Beth Lovell (Charles); his sister-in-law Mary Davenport; his grandchildren, Andrew Downs (Kristen), Christopher Skalla, Ricardo Ramirez, Jr. (Hannah), Patrick Skalla, Trelawney Carman (Phil), Jacob Lovell, Vickira Lovell, Jennaki Lovell and Cherese Lovell; and his great grandchildren, Bennett, Boston, Dustin, Barrett, Clara, Lillian, Ella, Susie, Emma, Rohen and Broly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
