She was predeceased by: her husband George; and her sisters, Marjorie Stewart and Irene Baden. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Olsen (Richard) of Rochester, MN, John Doerner (Nicole) of Fremont, CA and Jeanne Brown (Robert); and her caregivers, Paulette Godwin and Katherine Moore. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustin Catholic Church (545 42nd St, Des Moines, IA 50312). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Glendale Cemetery (4909 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).
