He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clemment Betts and Lois Betts (George); his siblings, Elva, Shirley and Ronald Betts (Bill); his children, Tom and Cheryl (Sherry); his nephew Bill Colton; his wife Marcella; his children, Sherry, Diane Thacker (Larry Sr) and Mark Zindelo; his grandchildren, Seth, Bridget, Colton, Tyler, Joanna, Robert, Michael, Larry Jr. and James; and his great grandchildren, Armari, Aliyah, Clayton, Quentin and Wyatt.
This said the family has also asked that, instead of flowers, donations be made in Don Betts' memory to the American Legion, Cancer Society, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and his family.
