He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Young; and his siblings, Floyd Lane and Phyllis Aistrope. He is survived by: his nieces, Lisa Lane-Miller (Russell Miller) and Lynette Lane-Ryan (Dave); his siblings, David Young (Margo), Roger Young and Jolene Lawery (Glen); his stepchildren, George Davis and Regina Davis; and his friend Jim McCollister. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Children's Square Foster Care Services.
