He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald O'Rourke and Shirley O'Rourke (Pace); his mother-in-law Bonnie Wilson; his sisters-in-law, Wendy O'Rourke and Belinda Holmes; and his great-nephew Noah Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Jana Wilson; his children, Terra (Megan) and Quinn (Danielle) of Joppa, MD; his grandchildren, Sierra and Kaden; his brothers, John (Lisa) and Larry (Nancy) of Glenwood, IA; his father-in-law James Wilson of Shenandoah, IA; his brothers-in-law, Darrell Wilson (Nancy) of Quincy, IL and Darwin Holmes (Carla) of Carter Lake, IA; and his aunts, Rita Gubbels of Jeanne O'Rourke, R. S. M and S. M.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
