It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald D. Hansen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thorvald Hansen and Carrie Hansen (Nelson); his siblings, Gerald Hansen and Betty Caughey (Dale); and his son Mick Hoffert.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene F. Hansen (Medicus) of Council Bluffs; and his children, Joni Hoffa (Randy) of Council Bluffs, Gene Hoffert (Susan) of Cedar Falls, IA and Deborah Meade of West Branch, IA. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Saint John Lutheran Church.
