She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Thiede and Ella Thiede (Hansen); her son Dennis R. Petry; her husband Jim Fitch; her siblings, Emaline Ossenkop (Earl), May Delle Kracht (Ivan), Louis Thiede and Clement Thiede (Janice); and her close friend Ronald T. Limburg.

She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Fisher (Bill) and Kevin Fitch (Kim) of Omaha; and her sister-in-law Lorene Thiede of Harlan, IA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
