He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Friesen and Irene Friesen (Kramer); his sister Marilyn; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Sawyers, Janet Friesen and Gary Lockhart.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pat Hayes (Les) of Arvada, CO, Jan Lockhart of Bellevue, NE, Mike Friesen (Jean), John Friesen of Papillion, NE, Jim Friesen (Pam) and Ken (Jean); and his close friend Sabrenna Ross. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
