He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett F. and Mary P. Ryan (Marshall); his father-in-law Bill Osterlund; his sister Colleen Huyck (Pat); his nieces and nephews, Ryan and Kelsey; and his brothers, Quinn, Jack, Denny and Gerry.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ryan of Council Bluffs; his son Kevin Ryan (Kristina); his grandchildren, Hannah and Kristian of Bradenton, FL; his daughter Mary Beth Korver (Travis); his grandchildren, Claire, Ryan and William of Tabor, IA; his daughter Julie Wilds (Brendan); his grandsons, Owen and Liam of Omaha; his siblings, Sheila Ryan of Underwood, IA, Jim Ryan of Healdsburg, CA and Rick Ryan (Maribeth) of Anacortes, WA; his sisters-in-law, Jan, Carolyn, Judy and Nancy Ryan; his mother-in-law Betty Osterlund; and his sister-in-law Trish Meeves (Larry) of Council Bluffs.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Albert Schools, Corpus Christi Parish, St. Columbanus Parish or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
