With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Owen H. Neal (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on January 29, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Neal and Inez Moore Neal; his stepmother Nettie Neal; his former wife Jeaneane Neal; and his stepgrandson Gabriel Showalter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Showalter of Craig, MO; his children, Diana Young (Bill) of Plainfield, IL, Steve Neal (Kim) of Omaha, NE, Scott Neal of Atlanta, GA, Stuart Neal (Diana) of Elkhorn, NE and Donna Ronfeldt (Jim) of Council Bluffs, IA; his stepson Jonathan Showalter (Julie) of Oakland, IA; his stepgranddaughters, Victoria DeRoss (Brett) of Red Oak, IA, Morgan Showalter of Ames, IA and Sophie Showalter; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Olivia and Lilliana DeRoss; and his brother Allen Neal (Marie) of Omaha, NE.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
