It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary E. Rasmussen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hedegaard and Katherine Hedegaard (Iversen); her siblings, Emil, Alfred, Paul, Marvin and Ellen Christiansen (Junior); her grandson Robert Jay Hurt; her daughter Linda Leigh Hurt; and her grandson Kevin Charles Hurt.
She is survived by: her sons, Merle (Jackie), Wesley (Kathy) and Kirk (Cheri); and her great grandchild Lexi Cierrah Hurt. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
