We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024, at the age of 87, Joanne (Whyte) Kimball (Council Bluffs, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas E. Whyte; her daughter Joanne Kimball; her mother Margaret E. Whyte Christo (Brougham); her stepfather Harry Christo; her brother Dennis E. Whyte; her sister-in-law Keralyn Whyte; her sister Mary Ellen Hughes; and her son Kurt E. Kimball.
She is survived by: her husband Kenny Kimball of Council Bluffs; her children, Carolyn Childers (Bill) of Missouri City, Texas, Kevin Kimball (Amy) of Splendora, Texas and Kathleen Philmalee (Tim) of Council Bluffs; her brother Thomas Whyte (Sandy) of Boone, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jordan Childers (Erich), Tyler Kimball, Haleigh Philmalee (Colbey Farrington), Kyle Kimball, Hunter Kimball, Megan Marcum, Jacob Marcum (Emily) and Katy Chitwood (Jordan); and her great grandchildren, Gabriella Farrington, Evelyn Chitwood and Theodore Chitwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Joanne's honor to The Alzheimer's Association or Hillcrest Hospice of Council Bluffs.
