It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Grimsley Sr. of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Grimsley and Wilma Grimsley (Bier); and his sister Nadine Vestel. He is survived by: his children, Steve Grimsley (Judy) of Kearney, NE., Ronald Grimsley (Bill Grimsley) of Jefferson, James Grimsley Jr., Jeffrey Grimsley (Grimsley) and Kathy Foor of Hamburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
