He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Rasmussen and Marie Rasmussen (Jensen); his brothers, Bennett, Quentin, Junior and Roland; and his sister-in-law Maxine.

He is survived by: his sons, Douglas (Pamela) and Sidney; and his sister Rosehanna M. Russell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Memorials are suggested to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
