With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Schaben (Council Bluffs, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schaben and Josephine Schaben (Block); and his siblings, Marvin, Raymond, Eugene, Jack Schaben, Delores Staley and Joan Schaben.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Schaben; his daughters, Stephanie Tingley and Amy Schaben; his grandchildren, Madison Tingley, Tyler Tingley, Emily O'Connor and Claire O'Connor; and his siblings, Charles Schaben (Delores), Betty Grote, Janice Schmitz, Gladys Rau (Dan) and Ronald Schaben (Marge). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins; a host of other family, friends.
Memorials are suggested to Saint Patrick Catholic Church or Wings of Hope.
