It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Patlan (Council Bluffs, Iowa), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rita Hunter, Donald'Butch'Hunter and Stanley Patlan. He is survived by: his father David Patlan; his sons, Bryson Patlan and Brody Patlan; his mother Theresa Hermida (Daniel); his grandmother Virginia Patlan; and his siblings, Latisha (Patlan), Sara (Patlan), Longton (Bruce), Tyler Hermida (Heather Stanley), Danielle Hermida, Hunter Hermida (Sierra Garber) and Marc Patlan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.
