He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Otto and Dorothy Micheel; his wife Thelma; his daughters, Kristen New (Christian) and Nicole Irvine (Chance) of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska; his granddaughters, Abigail New, Sophia Irvine, Emily New and Isabella Irvine; his siblings, Jim Miller (Nancy) of Torrington, Wyoming and Sandy Schelm of Ainsworth, Nebraska; his siblings-in-law, Bill Micheel (Ruth) of Ainsworth, Nebraska, Geraldine Micheel of Ainsworth and Carole Miller of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his friends, Jason and Heather Cramer; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Corrina, Nathan Cramer, Andrea and Robert Hart.
However, his first job was working on classified projects with Bendix, a government supplier and, thus, his contribution to his country was chosen.
