She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kruse and Dorothy Kruse; and her brothers, Clarence "Jim" Kruse and Warren "Bud" Kruse. She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Vicki Ehlers (Kevin), Cari Pfohl (Rob), Tami O'Konsky, Marti Richards (Rocky), Amy Hemmingsen and Brad Hemmingsen; her sisters, Marie Lindon and Virginia Johnson (Cookie); and her siblings-in-law, Janice Ward (Dale), Marilyn Linkletter (Ted), Lelo Hemmingsen and Reid Hemmingsen (Laura). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
