She was predeceased by: her parents, George Knudsen and Virgina Knudsen (Ellis); her husband Larry Simpson; her brother Gary Knudsen; her granddaughter Amber; and her great great grandchild Sophia.
She is survived by: her children, Janie Vanderpool (Bill), Cindy Simpson, Tami Kammrad (Rod), Susan Ottesen (Cliff) and Kevin Simpson (Suzy); and her sister Georgia McCombs (Guy).
