We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2023, at the age of 89, Andrew Edward Houston of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Houston and Mary Houston (May); his wife Karen Smith of Dow City; his daughter JoAnn; his siblings, J. R., Joseph Houston (Helen) and Lorreta Bonham (Vic); and his son-in-law Morris Phillips.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Phillips, Joan Bowden (Kirk), Ed Houston (Cathy), Donna O'Connor (Kevin), Dan Houston (Joanie) and Ann Marie Kluppel (Mark); his grandchildren, Patrick Phillips (Nikki), Andrew Phillips, Daniel Houston (Chelsey), Christopher Houston (Crystal), Kelli Houston, Sara Lenart (Joe), Kevin Bowden (Sarah), Joseph Houston, Jonathan Houston, Paul Kluppel (Stephanie) and Jennifer Kluppel; and his great grandchildren, Makayla, Jack Houston, Emma, Ellie Phillips, Charlotte and Colin Lenart.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dunlap, Iowa.
