He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Downing; his wife Linda Downing; and his brothers, Virgil and Les Downing. He is survived by: his children, Alvin Saul (Amy) and Kristy Downing (Joseph Sapp); his grandchildren, Mason, Brookelynn and Madison Saul; and his siblings, Carl, Gale Downing and Grace Mueller.
