It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack L. Rhone (Colfax, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 4, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Vessie E. Rhone and Esther A. Rhone (Beals); his spouse Marilyn J. Thompson; his children, Robert, Nancy Rhone (Stevens), Donna, Jon Harvey, Joyce, Mike Castell, Patti and LeRoy Hanna; his grandchildren, Gina Teed (Justin), Jeremy, Crystal Rhone (Parks), Dave, Jeannie Rhone (Smith), Faye Davis, Brandon Davis, Aaron, Jessica Post (Harvey) and Jonathan Harvey; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Gunsaulus (John), Donna Thompson and Ron Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Colfax United Methodist Church, the Colfax Senior Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
