He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Carroll and Esther Lovell (Freese). He is survived by: his wife Sara Ann Corwin; his children, Jeff Lovell of Clarksville, Randy Lovell (Bridget) of Lebanon, Shelli Lovell of Marshalltown and Cole Lovell of Cedar Falls; and his siblings, Vernie Lovell (Barb) of Cedar Falls, Craig Lovell (Pat) of Fairview, Lynn Lovell (Doris) of Cedar Falls, Gloria Christensen (Dale) of Dike and Cathy Muller (Kenny) of Pleasant Hill. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
