She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie West and Ben West; her friend Tamosa Saldana; and her siblings, Elza West, Clifford West, Dolton "Skip" West, Frank West, James West, Corrine Kendrick, Melody Ridenour, Beda Stogdill, Hazel Maxine Reed and Ethelene Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph A. Symons; her children, Gloria Szczepanski (Mark), Nancy Willmar (Ron), Joyce Droomer (Ken), John Symons, Kathleen Blodgett (Don), Michael Harden, James Symons, Phillip Symons, Daniel Symons (Carol), Jacqueline Symons, David Symons (Terry) and Jason Symons (Brandy); her siblings-in-law, Rosanne West, Shirley West and Earl Jones; and her friends, Helen Breitag and Lucille Black. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
