He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McGinn and Frances McGinn (Molloy); his wife Margaret Ann; his sisters, Betty Ann Unger, Phyllis Henderson and Barbara Chiafos; and his grandsons, Brett and Brandon Prough.

He is survived by: his children, Mike McGinn (Marla), Marcia Thomas (Jim), Pat Sallee (Steve), Julie Prough (Kurt), Geri King (Kevin) and Marti Kent (Doug); his grandchildren, Matt McGinn (Liz Roman), Maggie Byrne (James), Brad Thomas (Jerusha), Joey Thomas, Kari Mason (Kenny), Katie Shore (Joe), Aimee Keith, Andy Peterson, Riley Prough (Emily), Kira Bartlemus, Shelby Howell (Josh), Jenna Smith (Brandt), Annie Wickham (Chase) and Alie Studer (Nick); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Marcio, Michael, Andrew, Nick, Jack, Gage, Madison, Sydnee, Taylor, Logan, Connor, Tanner, Abryana, Sophia, Addison, Kenadee, Ella, Olivia, Devon, Hawk, Ryker, Ivy, Levi, Mason, Reese, Cade, Ayla and Emberlie; and his siblings, Johnny Molloy, Dee Rosenbaum, Jimmy McGinn (Cathy) and Dick McGinn (Martha).
