He is survived by: his children, Michael Donald and Pamela Sue; his wife Grace Anne; his children, Mike Holmes (Marian) of Melrose, Kathy Mills (Darwin) of Russell, Pam McCullough (Galen) of Chariton and Deanne Rich (Andy) of Chariton; his grandchildren, Zack Holmes of Melrose, Shannon Holmes of Melrose, Ryan Mills (Gisela) of Des Moines, Chad Mills (Vanessa) of Chariton, Laura Mart (Clayton) of Chariton, Jeff McCullough of Ankeny, Emily Porterfield (Tyler) of Indianola, Bailey Smith (Jared Dudley) of Corydon, Brittney Smith (Tyler Ramus) of Ankeny, Mikayla Rich of Polk City and Macray Rich of Chariton; his great grandchildren, Blaine, Kyle, Eli, Gavin, Dylan, Tanlee, Carson, Emma, Isabella, Rebecca, Rylee, Karley, Natalie, Jace and Tate; and his sister Mary Louise O'Brien of Chariton.
