With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona M. (Pavelka) Hrubes of Britt, Iowa, who passed away on November 26, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pavelka and Alice Pavelka (Zebransky); her husband Joe; her children, Mark, Phillip and Jeanette; her grandson Ryan Hrubes; and her siblings, Jim Pavelka, Margaret Hrubes, Joe Pavelka and Paul Pavelka.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Hrubes; her children, Tom Hrubes of Mason City, Dennis Hrubes (Brenda) of Britt, Dale Hrubes of Livermore and Ron Hrubes (Deb) of Britt; her siblings-in-law, Sheryl Pavelka and Clarence Hrubes; her grandson Brandon Hrubes (Kelsey); her great grandchildren, Sasha, Sveta, Ivan, Silas and Andrea Welter (Tom); her stepgrandson Rick LaGue (Jennie); and also, Millie, Graham, Nathan Hrubes, Ricky Jr., Layen, Kristine Mohr (Joey), David LaGue (Amanda), Tenley and Mayley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Those in attendance are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
