Lawrence V. Smidt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2020, at the age of 89, Lawrence V. Smidt of Britt, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Smidt and Cora Smidt (Abbas); and his siblings, Eugene Smidt (Gene), Dorothy Guida (Jim) and Leona Smith (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Cook; his children, Steve Smidt (Kim), Curt Smidt, Jill Olson (Tom) and Brad Smidt (Jean); his grandchildren, Adam Smidt, Allison Preble (Derek), Jennifer Smidt, Matt Wellik, Andrea Wellik and Tim Smidt; his great grandchildren, Brynnlee, Kylee, Croix, Jordan, Jadyn, Justin, Shay and Liam; and his sisters-in-law, LaVonne Smidt and Judy Studer (Kerm). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
