He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Paulson and Gertrude Paulson of Britt, Iowa.; his wife Janet Kay Curley; and his sister Maxine Hernandez. He is survived by: his close friend Ron Davies; his children, John Paulson (Kelly) of Glyndon, MN, Shawn Paulson (Teresa) of Moorhead, MN, Holly Olauson (Micheal) of Valley City and Louetta Hanson (David) of Wilmington, NC.; his grandchildren, John Paulson (Jess), Michael Bengson (Cassie), Alyssa Burger (John), Dallas, Austen, Brandon, Shawna Paulson, Jacob Olauson (Kiersten), Chelsey Schaefer (Austin), Braeden Olauson, Hope and Jaden Hanson; his brother Roger Paulson (Lynn) of Mokelumme Hill, CA; and his great grandchildren, Elsa Paulson, Gracie Bengson and Grace Olauson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
