He was predeceased by: his parents, John Showalter and Elvera Showalter (Kellberg); his sister-in-law Mary Showalter; and his grandson Joel Showalter, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hosier; his son Jon Showalter (Sandra) of Eads; his grandchildren, William, Mario and Cameron; his daughter Janet Justice (Mike) of Boise; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Amanda, Mike and Michelle; his son Joel Showalter, Sr. (Stacey); his granddaughter Amy; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Katie; his grandchildren, Brandon, Nick and Jordan Showalter of Ackley; his great grandchildren, Ben, Tim and Alexis; his brother Jerry Showalter; and also Jeff Showalter (Sherri) of Ackley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Those in attendance will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines and are encouraged to wear a face covering.
