He is survived by: his sibling Kanawha; his wife Linda Modderman of Britt; and his children, Bob Carpenter (Bobbie) of Garner, Carlene Meyer (David) of Britt, Joyce Matern (Mark) of Britt, Michael Carpenter of Sun City and Gene Carpenter of Arizona. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; along with extended family members and friends.
