With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vierlyn J. Roskens of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Primghar, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Speaker and Sadie Speaker (Stewart); her spouse Jerry Roskens; her brother Chuck Speaker; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Roskens and Les Kiel.
She is survived by: her children, Val, Stephen Tews, Larry, Lisa Roskens, Ted and Mary Roskens; her sisters-in-law, Kristi Jons, Jean Kiel and Della Vander Broek; her grandchildren, Kaitlin (Anthony Rohlik), Joshua (Rachel Lubben), Michaela (CJ Maddox), Jes Roskens, Bekah (Zane Kuehn), Nate Roskens, Alan Bush, David (Claudia Roskens) and Dani Roskens; her great grandchild Shayden Maddox; and her grandchildren, Zaviar, Royston, Kierlin, Quaed Rohlik, Raelyn Kuehn, Ezekiel Kuehn and Michael Roskens. She is also survived by her family and friends.
