We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Marvin W Ackerland of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Park River, North Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ackerland and Loretta Ackerland (Solberg); and his siblings, Darlene Ackerland, Robert Ackerland, Rita Johnson, Shirley Alman and Evelyn Pullen.

He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle, Monica and Mary; his stepson Michael Hoeg (Mary Anne) of Davenport, IA.; his grandsons, Aiden and Alex Hoeg of Davenport, IA.; his wife Eileen Ackerland; and his siblings, Jerome Ackerland, Eileen (Dean) and Karen Lizakowski (Dave). He is also survived by his three grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Moline Public Library or the River Bend Food Pantry.
