John X. Stratton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John X. Stratton of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Xenophon Hagestratou and Helen Hagestratou; his wife Martha Pappas; his son-in-law John Moorhead; and his sisters, Olga and Toula.
He is survived by: his children, Helen Moorhead, Marge Stratton and Jay Stratton (Penny); his grandchildren, Denise Kepner (Scott), Tom Moorhead (Emily), Alex Barnhart, Jessica Sheridan (Daniel) and Jonathon Stratton (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Corea, Jayden, Alysha, Ava, Charlie, Elliot, Amara, Max and Charlotte.
Memorials in John's name may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
