He was predeceased by: his parent Mel Langel. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Michael, Elizabeth and Thomas; his siblings, Julie Nodland (David), Peter Hughes, Mary Beth Newby (Randy), Rev Brian Hughes and Sheila Hughes; and his mother-in-law Doris Langel. He is also survived by five siblings and spouses; and many nieces and nephews.
