He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Vonderhaar and Louise Vonderhaar (Stolwyk); and his siblings, Paul and Judy Knight. He is survived by: his wife Collette Wagner; his daughter Susan Anderson (Tim) of Long Beach; his grandchildren, Robin Pasowicz (John), Stephanie and Emily; his son Michael Vonderhaar (Joanie) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, J. T. (Natalie), Matt (Danielle), Ellie McCullough (Ben) and Anna; his son David Vonderhaar of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Ashley, Zach (Amber) and Nick; his great grandchildren, JJ, Gus and Eli; and his sisters, Carrie Dierker (Leroy) of Cleveland, Ohio and Joan Redmon (Pete) of Chicago. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to The Vonderhaar Family Foundation which supports various charities in the Quad Cities area and needy families and children throughout the world; to the One Faith-One Family-One Future Campaign or to Assumption High School.
