She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Silknitter and Sammie Silknitter (Hamlin); and her son Leo Silknitter. She is survived by: her husband William Harper; her daughters, Ashley Nichole Lills (Sam) of Preston and Tiffanie Silknitter of LeClaire; her stepdaughters, Ashley Cooper (Joshua) of Davenport and Samantha Harper of McGregor, Iowa; and her sister Sherry Baker of Tennessee.
