He is survived by: his children, Hans Brian (Amy), Robert William (Susan) and Johanna Jane Lovig; his grandson Hans Brady; his wife Cynthia Roberta Wear; his grandchildren, Brady, Mason, Gilbert, Gwyneth, Vincent and Owen; and his sisters, Carol Anderson (Lovig) and Sandy Hofsommer (Hendrickson). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
