He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Kleitsch and Carrie Kleitsch (Kurt); his wife Carol A. Dunkel; his siblings, Wilfred Kleitsch, Carl Kleitsch (Mary) and Marion Hosch (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Kleitsch, Verna Kleitsch and Alve Onken.
He is survived by: his children, Deanne Mainey of Davenport, Jim Kleitsch (Shaun) of Stoughton, WI, Shari Peiffer (Ken) of Dubuque and Kevin Kleitsch (Kim Porterfield) of Manchester, IA; his siblings, Leona Onken of Marion, Ruth Kleitsch of Dubuque and Edwin Kleitsch of Cascade; and his sister-in-law Rita Kleitsch of Monticello. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Per the CDC guidelines social distancing will be followed and masks required.
