It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Kurt of Bellevue, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kurt and Edith Kurt (Dirksen); his son Randall "Duke" Kurt; and his siblings, Lorraine Kurt, Dorothy Scheckel (Elmer), Eileen Kurt, Lynn Kurt, Michael Jess, Sue Ann Koppes-Daugherty and Richard Kurt.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jess; his children, Kate Elvin (Michael) and Fred Kurt (Julie); his grandchildren, Taylor Elvin (Eric Amerling), Joseph Elvin, Mitchell Kurt (Yzabella Escobedo) and Erin Doyle (Declan); his siblings, John Kurt, Lois Kramer, Ruth Byrne (Gerald) and Jim Kurt; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Kurt, Tom Jess and Marty Jess (Joan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Jackson County Hospice in Eugene's memory.
