She was predeceased by: her son Robert Nathan Sears; her husband Robert Sears; her son Nate Sears; her grandson Sy Charmchi; her parents, William Nelson and Effie Nelson; and her sister Alice Reed.
She is survived by: her family Cambridge; her children, Paula Sears (Mike Suttle), Cynthia Wilson (Tom), Tina Schieferdecker (Brian), Myrna Grosskruger (Mark), Steven Sears (Diane) and Maria Zulma "Zoom" Cardona; and her siblings, Joyce Hemmingson and John "Bill" Nelson of Geneseo, IL.
