She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Fahn and Hilda Fahn (Leuschen); her son Gary; her husband Nick; her brother Joe Fahn (Marilyn); and her brothers-in-law, Chuck Reynolds and Kenny Escher.

She is survived by: her former husband Nicholas Gubbels; her children, Phil Gubbels (Denise) of Harlan, Dean Gubbels (Norma) of Panama, Mary Lou Tremel (Mike) of Earling, Susan Wingert (Mike) of Panama and Joe Gubbels (Joan) of Harlan; her daughter-in-law Carmie Gubbels of Earling; her grandchildren, David Gubbels, Dennis Gubbels, Adam Gubbels, Chuck Gubbels, Brad Tremel, Kristina Dotzler, Makayla Kintner, Ty Wood, Terry Gubbels, Stephanie Henscheid, Tiffanie Wingert, Jack Gubbels and Jace Gubbels; her great grandchildren, Eliza Gubbels, Violet Gubbels, Zachary Gubbels, Aiden Gubbels, Jarrett Gubbels, Bryant Gubbels, Charles Gubbels, Brylee Dotzler, Brody Dotzler, Nickolas Gubbels, Melanie Gubbels, William Gubbels and Sophia Henscheid; her siblings, Donna Escher, Judy Reynolds, Mary Rose Bledsoe (Hollis), Charles Fahn (Linda) and Bill Fahn (Joan); and her parents-in-law, Theresa Brinks and Norbert Krienert. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.

She still enjoyed visitors but was recently limited to window visits due to the pandemic.
