She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Wilhelmina Helbourg (Goettsch) and Louis Helbourg; her husband Dean Coomes; her daughter Janelle Coomes; and her brother Leroy Helbourg.
She is survived by: her children, Jolene Sue Laugerman (Duane E.) of Grimes and Jeffrey Dean Coomes of Atlantic; her grandchildren, Joanna Laugerman of Des Moines, Janelle Laugerman of Des Moines, Andrew Laugerman of Grimes and Alex Laugerman of Grimes; her sister Donnis Helbourg of Atlantic; her sisters-in-law, Donnis Phillips and Sharon Waag (Harold); and her cousins, LaVerne Goettsch, Russell Goettsch (Kathy), Sharon Svuba (Dwight), Betty Goettsch (Randall) and Virginia Goettsch (Gilbert).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a church or charity of your choice.
