He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross John and Velma Augusta Ackerman (Bees); and his brother Marlin Ackerman. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Davis (Anderson); his children, Ann Ackerman of Griswold and Pat Ackerman of Griswold; his granddaughter Darci Ackerman of Atlantic; and his siblings, Sherryl Kehm of Omaha and David Ackerman of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
