She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman C. Marckmann and Clara Marckmann (Fust); her husband Everett Earl Rechtenbach; her son-in-law Ed Schwenneker; and her sister Velma Marckmann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janis (Dick Rabenold) of Pleasant Hill and Judy Schwenneker of Adel; her grandsons, Brent (Samantha Schwenneker) of Adel and Jason Schwenneker of Ankeny; and her great grandchildren, Bryce, Nolan and Carson Schwenneker of Adel.
She requests that memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Atlantic.
