He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorna Mae Mecklenburg and Charles Edward Kennedy Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Petersen (Dave), Cheryl Petersen (Brent), Chuck Kennedy (Teri) and Mark Kennedy; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Samantha, Ryan, Lindsey, Jessica and Caroline.
