He is survived by: his children, Curt Gerhold (Lori) of Atkins, Kathy (late James Maddox) of Cedar Rapids, Sue Dolan (Chris) of Fairfax, Sally Polansky (Matt) of Atkins and Dianna Svoboda (Brad) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
