He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Wheelock and Lottie Wheelock (Quist); and his brothers, John and William. He is survived by: his wife Edra Smith; his children, David Charles Wheelock (Eloisa Palafox) and Ann Kristen Wheelock (David Lund); and his grandson Charles David Palafox Wheelock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the William Bliss Cancer Center at Mary Greeley Medical Center or Collegiate Presbyterian Church.
