She is survived by: her son Erik (Holly); her husband Karsten Smedal of Ames; her daughter Kristin Olson (Brad); her granddaughters, Katie and Emily; her children, Lauren and Jack; her sister Linda Marquart; and her sons, Matthew and Michael.
